Family Law

We effectively represent the interests of our Hungarian and Italian clients in divorce proceedings between Hungarian and Italian spouses, as well as in cases concerning child custody, visitation rights, and maintenance payments, including proceedings before guardianship authorities related to minors. We also provide assistance in regulating property relations between spouses and former cohabitants, both consensually and judicially.

International Child Abduction (Hague Convention)

We have many years of experience in handling legal cases involving international child abduction. We operate effectively within both the Hungarian and Italian legal frameworks to protect the rights of parents and minors involved, particularly in return of abducted children procedures provided by the Hague Convention in cases of wrongful removal or retention of minors abroad, from Italy to Hungary or vice versa.

Marital Property Agreements

We frequently prepare bilingual marital property agreements for our Hungarian and Italian clients, both before and during marriage, to clearly regulate property matters that may arise in the event of divorce.

Inheritance Law, Succession

We assist our clients in navigating Hungarian, Italian, and European inheritance laws. We represent our Italian clients in their succession matters in Hungary and support Hungarian clients in exercising their rights in inheritance cases in Italy. Additionally, we provide assistance in obtaining the European Certificate of Succession and in registering ownership rights of inherited real estate in land registries.
